well hello deviantart friends! (and foes?)

i am pretty sure that i will be coming back regularly. i've realized lately just how much i've missed taking pictures, and how it's always been something that sparks my general interest and is really a part of me... so hopefully, you'll be seeing much more of me. once i can find some batteries for my canon... (asking for rechargeable ones for christmas might be a good idea) i will certainly try to take off once more.

connecticut is damn cold today. it's to be expected, of course. but yesterday it was nearly 60 degrees out. what happened to those winters i used to have as a child? when the snow seriously seemed to pile up over my head?

with that being said, i'm not sure how much i have to work with as far as really interesting compositions go... (i love being outside) but seeing as how a lot of my former work is kind of less than impressive composition wise (to me, even though i know i am evolving! and i do appreciate some of my work, for sure!)... i'm hoping to get a lot better.

i went to england this summer, and i have to say, i fell seriously in love with the place. i do have QUITE a few pictures from my trip, so i'll probably use that stock for a while.


anyways, i think it's time to unwind with maybe a book and some good tea. it is absolutely freezing up here...
